A Full Overlap Slotted Container (FOLSC) is characterized by its sturdy structure with fully overlapping flaps, offering strong impact resistance. It is commonly used to package narrow or heavy items like bicycles, nails, and mechanical products that require enhanced protection.

An automated packaging line designed for FOLSC typically includes a carton erector, sealer, and corner-side sealer. This setup ensures that the carton's flaps are folded separately, the edges are sealed on the top and bottom, and all four sides of the carton are securely sealed. These features are crucial for ensuring robust packaging suitable for items with strict protection requirements.
