How to Address the Issue of Diamond-Shaped Cartons After Using a Carton Erector/Forming Machine?

Problems caused by irregular cartons:

After the carton erector/carton former/carton forming machine opened the carton, it was found that the carton was in a diamond shape. What is the reason?

After using the carton erector/former/forming machine, it was found that the carton appeared diamond-shaped. This issue seems to arise because the cover does not fully enclose the carton. We recommend manually folding the carton to check each side:

Solution:

Refer to the accompanying image showing the carton's width. Notably, the areas highlighted in blue suggest that you need to contact your carton supplier to adjust the gaps to a width of approximately 20mm. 

Alternatively, trimming the corners of the carton as shown in another image can also rectify the issue.

This problem primarily stems from the irregular dimensions of the cartons and errors during their production. Previously, when cartons were sealed manually, such discrepancies were less problematic, so carton manufacturers did not need to standardize their processes as rigorously. However, with the increasing use of machines for packing, there is a greater need for standardized carton production. It is advisable for customers to request that their carton suppliers adhere to these standards, as this issue is commonly encountered in automated processes.
